FREUDENBERG GROUP

The Freudenberg Group is a diversified group of German companies whose products include household and cleaning products, automotive parts, textiles, building materials, and telecommunications, headquartered in Germany. In Portugal, Freudenberg chose the city of Porto to set up shop and Soespaço was responsible for all the furniture, space dividers and garden supplies.

Due to the large open space, one of the biggest challenges was acoustics. To address this issue, we equipped the operating stations with acoustic panels, installed self-supporting acoustic panels, and used Gotessons acoustic panels as a ceiling solution. We were able to reduce sound reverberation to a minimum, allowing the entire team to work with privacy, speech intelligibility, and the ability to concentrate.

Another unique feature of the office is the operating desks we use. To counteract static work, we use the SKALA operating model from Forma 5, which is height-adjustable. Using a height-adjustable desk can significantly reduce problems related to poor ergonomics and significantly improve the quality of life of professionals.

The partitions throughout the office are double-paned, providing maximum privacy to the meeting areas. In addition to the interior design, Soespaço was also responsible for the garden's landscaping, installing the entire lawn as well as the rest of the vegetation.
