The Freudenberg Group is a diversified group of German companies whose products include household goods and cleaning products, automotive parts, textiles, construction materials, and telecommunications, headquartered in Germany. In Portugal, Freudenberg chose the city of Porto as its base, and Soespaço was responsible for supplying all the furniture, partitions, and garden equipment.
Due to the large open space, one of the biggest challenges was the acoustics. To solve this, we equipped the workstations with acoustic panels, installing self-supporting acoustic panels, and using Gotessons acoustic panels as a ceiling acoustic solution. We managed to reduce the sound reverberation level to a minimum, allowing the entire team to work with privacy, clear speech, and the ability to concentrate.
Another unique feature of the office is the type of desks used. In order to counteract static work, we use the SKALA Forma 5 model, which is height-adjustable. Using a height-adjustable desk can significantly reduce problems related to poor ergonomics and greatly improve the quality of life for professionals.
