Located in Gaia, Coworking 4400 is one of the city's newest coworking spaces. Featuring a modern design and various work areas, it also boasts a 200m² rooftop where users can relax with stunning views over the Douro River.
Soespaço was responsible for the architectural design, all construction work, engineering, HVAC, lighting, break room, carpentry, and furniture supply. The interior design for a coworking space is an exciting challenge. It requires an approach that combines design, functionality, and practicality. The main objective was to create a welcoming, comfortable, and productive environment for the users of the space. The most important aspect of the project was space optimization. We had to make the most of the available area, creating functional and versatile work zones that can be adapted to the users' needs.
Another key aspect was the choice of furniture. Products that are durable, resistant, and easy to clean, never forgetting aesthetics. All the carpentry work in the entrance area, open space, and kitchen was designed and executed by Soespaço. It was essential to create a pleasant and welcoming environment, with decorative elements that convey a feeling of comfort and tranquility.
